It is the Era of Talent Hunts and Star Voice of India is all set to choose the talent of India but only individual. Here is something for all you bands out there who have formed groups dedicated to music. The hunt is for the best music band and is conducted by our world music genius A.R Rahman and actor-singer Vasundhara Das. As an answer to the all the famous talent hunts that restricted them to North of India, this particular talent hunt is exclusive for the bands in South India. Once the hunt becomes popular it will be extended to the whole of India. And both Rahman and Vasundhara Das have reasons for this southern specific bend. “I could say that Chennai is the cultural capital of India, in Carnatic music and so many other things. So being in the South and being launched from here is very important,” says Rahman. “I’ve grown up in Bangalore and I can see what comes out of the city. It’s just huge, the potential. There are so many people and so many different forms of music playing for underground audiences who don’t listen to mainstream music,” adds Vasundhara. So let us see how this talent hunt with a difference, changes the trend. Get ready southerners with your Musical Band, Rahman is on his way.

There is news that Band leader Kailash Kher, along with Mumbai-based Kamath brothers, Paresh and Naresh, are set to compose music for two Bollywood films. Kailash Kher’s music is really heart rendering and has won a many hearts in favour of his genre of music. After stamping their mark in the music industry with two successful albums, the composer trio of popular band Kailasa are now expanding their domain into Bollywood and are in talks with the Mozart of Madras, AR Rahman, who may sing for them. When asked Kher said “Yes, me and my colleagues of my band Kailasa, Paresh Kamath and Naresh Kamath, will be composing music for upcoming films Made In China and Allah Ke Bande,” .“Together we will be known as Kailash-Paresh-Naresh” he added. We are now eagerly waiting for the music to be released.
