Sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji
Two younger sons of Guru Gobind Singh aged 5 and 7 were executed at Sirhand by the orders of the Nawab of Sirhand.Nawab Sher Mohammad of Malerkotla objected to the execution of innocent children but could not prevent it .The Sikhs never forgot the defence of the Guru,s sons by the Malerkotla Nawab. No Muslims from Malerkotla Migrated to Pakistan in 1947. There is a story that during the riots of 1947 anybody approaching Malerkotla to harm the Muslims would be confronted by a warrior in shining armour riding a white horse and the raiders would flee seeing him Was it the Guru himself come to pay back the dues.
