After classics like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas and Black, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is back with a love story titled Saawariya. The main attraction of the movie ‘Saawariya’was the two new faces Ranbir Kappor and Sonam Kapoor, both these newcomers were kids of superstars. This fact added more glamour to the movie. There was lot of publicity and hype generated for this movie. Both the actors performed beautifully but unfortunately the movie did not turn out well at the box office. Saawariya is a bore one and fails to entertain. Having seen Bhansali’s earlier movies like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas and Black, expectations from the master director was high, but with Saawariya he disappoints for the first time. Under Bhansali’s direction Saawariya would be the first movie which leaves public puzzled. Well, working with Sanjay Leela Bansali indeed must have been a great experience for Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor as newcomers.
The Sawariya duo Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor were in news not for their on screen romance in the film Sawariya this time, instead there are speculations about the budding real romance between the two of them. Though Saawariya could not create those ripples that it was expected to, still it seems that their combination is here to stay; since both have been pretty successful in making their individual marks. Well the Saawariya girl has defiantly done well for self, so well that she has already signed her second film. The film has been named Delhi 6 and Sonam will stay opposite Abhishek Bachchan. This girl is defiantly following her fathers footsteps and making a good enough career for herself. The new movie Delhi 6 will be on the sets from next month, and let’s hope this one turns out to be a success for the Saawariya girl.
We have already mentioned that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is soon to release his new film Saawariya, well the film is to be released in November the Diwali season and it is booming so far, and people are really awaiting this film. The film is to cast newcomers Ranbir Kapoor (son of Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh) and Sonam Kapoor (daughter of Anil Kapoor). The film also stars Rani Mukerjee and Salman Khan.
