Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant are going to tie the knot at the end of next month. One of the family members, who did not wish to be identified, revealed that the wedding is to take place in the last week of March. When Sanjay returns from Paris where he is working on a musical, Padmavati, for the French opera house, Theatre du chatelet then the wedding will take place. When we want to confirm the news from Vaibhavi then she said that it’s too early to disclose all the details but her family is quite excited about the marriage.
After classics like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas and Black, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is back with a love story titled Saawariya. The main attraction of the movie ‘Saawariya’was the two new faces Ranbir Kappor and Sonam Kapoor, both these newcomers were kids of superstars. This fact added more glamour to the movie. There was lot of publicity and hype generated for this movie. Both the actors performed beautifully but unfortunately the movie did not turn out well at the box office. Saawariya is a bore one and fails to entertain. Having seen Bhansali’s earlier movies like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas and Black, expectations from the master director was high, but with Saawariya he disappoints for the first time. Under Bhansali’s direction Saawariya would be the first movie which leaves public puzzled. Well, working with Sanjay Leela Bansali indeed must have been a great experience for Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor as newcomers.
Sanjay Leela Bansali is a director of excellence, although he gives very few films, his films are of high class and prove t be major hits. His last film was in 2005 and was Black, which was a success all around the world, it even gave him many awards. He is now going to be releasing his film Saawariya, which everyone is eagerly waiting for, the promos of the film are killing everyone and they are all awaiting to see the film, which will be released in November.
