Sometimes Bollywood films can be utterly rubbish and sometimes they can be the best, it depends on the acting and what the story line is. Sometimes films, which are based on true stories, do quite well and sometimes they don’t. At times films, which are totally unrealistic, turn out to be the biggest hits and make it top. Generally stories have to be about something different and interesting and have to have some good actors, which make films successful.

Sholay is a film, which cannot be re made, it is a film of class and of top quality, but Ram Gopal Varma made a mistake by trying to make a remake of the film. The film did not do well at all, and although many of the actors worked hard in their roles, they did not seem to do the job, as the original stars did in the film Sholay. Being Gabbar and having seen him in the film Sholay was good, but there is no actor who can be like him or act like him.

This week at the cinema’s there are two films releasing one which is Dhamaal and one is Darling. The two films both have a different story line and a different background, so there is not much competition for both of the films. Although both of films look quite promising from the promos which have been shown recently. Well what we have to do now is just wait and see what the outcome will, and what the audience think.

The much awaited film Ram Gopal Varma ki Aag, has finally been released yesterday. The box office was full of people lining up to get their tickets for the first day first show. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgan, Sushmita Sen and many others, this is a film, which is a remake of the old classic Sholay and is based upon the same story, with a slight difference to it. It has only so been one day for the show, lets see how it goes, and whether people like it or not.

We have already mentioned that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is soon to release his new film Saawariya, well the film is to be released in November the Diwali season and it is booming so far, and people are really awaiting this film. The film is to cast newcomers Ranbir Kapoor (son of Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh) and Sonam Kapoor (daughter of Anil Kapoor). The film also stars Rani Mukerjee and Salman Khan.

The songs in hindi movies, are booming. There are a lot of good movies which also have a lot of good music, and it shows by the number of people buying the albums and the charts on the radio and television. The latest songs which are topping the charts are from the films Hey Baby and Cash.

Chak De India, starring Shah Rukh Khan is proving to be a big hit at the box office, and many people have enjoyed the film and the story line. It has also inspired a lot of people to play for their nation. The girls who are mostly new comers, have also done a good job in the film and are a part of making the film successful.

The greatest of all the Bollywood films is the film named Sholay. The film was a block buster of its times and still it is favorite of millions of people. The film has something in it which could never be there again in any film after that. The backdrop of the rural scenery in the film is a totally different kind of ambience never to be found again in any film so far. The direction is simply the great work of art unparalleled by anyone till today. It is perhaps the best film of Bollywood till date.

Remakes are in a trend, and this time it is the Telugu movie Pokiri, which will be remade in Hindi, but before this a Tamil remake was made too, which was a huge hit. Boney Kapoor, who is going to be casting Salman Khan and Ayesha Takia, has brought the Hindi remake rights. The film has been titled Wanted Dead or Alive and is currently being filmed in Bangkok, the film is going to be completed in 45 days flat when the shooting will be done in India.

The main theme of the film along with other themes is the theme of the dacoits headed by a deadly dacoit named Gabbar Singh in the movie Sholay. The role of Gabbar Singh is played by late Amjad Khan. It was his debut film and was his best performance too. The dacoits are portrayed really at their best in this great film. There has never been a movie featuring dacoits as nicely as it had been done in Sholay.
