Film for Children

Tuesday, January 8th, 2008

The latest sensation in Bollywood is ‘Taare Zameen Par’. In India films for children are few and the good among these can be counted on one’s finger tips. With this in mind, Aamir Khan has directed ‘Taare Zameen Par’ with children being the main characters. Aamir Khan is known a perfectionist in the industry and he is always experimenting with different kind of roles. This attitude of his is taking him places. Aamir is the producer, director and the main hero for this movie. Throughout the story, an attempt to sensitive the viewers towards differently-abled children is evident. The film also poses a big question on the way our education system operates. Even though its ills are conspicuous, they are often ignored for pursuing the mad race - one that keeps defining the path, but sets no meaningful end. The movie shall persist in the minds of the viewers for a long time, with its simplicity of expression and its power to overwhelm people.

2007 Movies

Monday, December 31st, 2007

This year there have not been any great movies, and only a small number of hits, which include the early bird hit Guru, followed by Chak De India, then other hits later on in the year such as Jab We Met. This year the film industry gave the audience some ridiculous films, and the main resolution for them should be to give better and different kinds of films.

Aaja Nachle Review

Saturday, December 8th, 2007

Aaja Nachle was a very different film to see, it wasn’t the typical story you would find in Hindi films, but something, which made sense and had a story line to it. It was based on kind of real issues, that people may face through out their lives and the general public fighting for their requirements and needs. This is definatly a film to go a see and out of ten I would give it a score of 6 and a half, which is not bad as compared to the kind of films which are being released.

Om Shanti Om Vs Saawariya

Friday, November 23rd, 2007

When it comes to Om Shanti Om Vs Saawariya, we can say that Om Shanti Om has proven to be a much bigger hit, and on the other side we can also say that Saawariya is not so much of a flop due to its star cast. People have been going gaga over Ranbir Kapoor and he is the latest hottie in town. This is one of the main reasons why the film was seen by many people. But at the end of the day OMO is defiantly a hit.

Horror movie

Monday, September 17th, 2007

I was looking into the newspaper in the TV programmes columns’ saw the horror movie was coming up in the midnight. I made up my mind to view it. It was named the thirteenth ghost. It was 12pm and the movie-started .I was very engrossed in it, the plot of the movie was very good and the ghosts looked very real. The best part is that I was scared and was afraid to move around, so much so that I did not get up to go to the bathroom! I was compelled to look outside the window and saw the leaves of the trees moving with the flow of the wind. I saw some arbitrary figures moving and shut my eyes, I started hearing wired noises……..all this I think were the consequences of watching a horror movie!

Good Movie

Saturday, September 15th, 2007

There is one movie, which is a new and has made wonders. I think its gonna be a hit movie. It’s full of learning, motivating& lessons in life. I wish we have such movies coming in more often, rather than having family affairs and love stories which are of no sense and give no learning to the public. This one has thought people how to have unity between them, make them realize unity is something which can change things and peoples opinion if you are united. You can win the lost battle as well if there is unity. It’s proved to be a good movie.
