Kareena Kapoor recentyl refused to work, no not in film but opposite Abhishek Bachchan. Previously Abhishek had refused to work with Kareena when he knew he would have to star in the same film a her, he had made a decision not to work with any one in Karishma Kapoor’s immediate family after the break up of Abhishek and Karishma. It was Apoorva Lakia who approached Kareena with the role and she refused knowing Abhishek was also in the film, but Abhishek took the role even though he knew Apoorva was keen on getting Kareena in. well we don’t know how long this fight wil go on for, but people defiantly want to see the two together again after Refugee and Mein Prem Ki Deewani Hoon.
Kareena Kapoor recently watched a sneak preview of boyfriend Shahid Kapur’s film Fool and Final. Kareena was so impressed by Shahid’s performance that she gave the director Ahmed Khan a watch as a gift, which was worth 2.5 lakh. The director Ahmed said he was really surprised to have received the gift from Kareena, but he loved the gift as he is very fond of branded watched although he had the same model which Kareena gave him, he appreciated the gesture.
Recently Karan Johar’s show has become a revenge program for most celebrities, recently Mallika Sherawat said on the show that she could have done Kareena Kapoors’s item number better in the film Don. The impressions on Mallika’s face made it look like a joke but it wasn’t all innocent. The rivalry between Mallika and Kareena goes back a long time, to be precise from the time of the film Jeena Sirf Mere Liye. A source from the film says that the vibes between the two were so cold that sets would freeze when the two would walk in. Mallika said that during the shooting of Jeena Sirf Mere Liye Kareena treated her like dirt and as if she was nobody.
Mallika’s chance to get even with Kareena came when Murder came out which was a great success, and when Kareena did the Bewafaa, all Mallika had to say was that Kareena has just copied her and done a film like Murder.
Kareena Kapoor is going to be away from home for a while, but will be busy with Shaahid Kapur, as both of them will be going away for the shooting of their new film.
