Since the high success of Jab We Met, actress Kareena Kapoor has become the highest paid Bollywood actress. After the success of the film, Kareena’s career has accelerated into top drive. Kareena is also known for her diversity in clothes, whether it is a budget film or a film by a top A list director, she always looks glamorous and outstanding and makes a mark for her self with her clothing, which makes her a good match of a good performer and looker. Kareena has experimented with many kinds of different roles, since her first film Refugee from the latest of jab We Met. Lets hope we get to see more of Kareena’s acting in her outstanding performances.

Fashion designer Manish Malhotra plans to make a film in this year. The film script for his first directorial venture will have the look of the cinema of the 1970s. Manish said that: “I want to make a film that I would love to see. My intention is not to change the film industry. My film will have the look of the ’70s because that’s the kind of cinema I grew up on.” Currently he is busy with the designs on Bollywood stars in current projects, he is at the moment designing clothes for Kajol in U Me Aur Hum and Kareena Kapoor for Golmal Returns. Manish Malhotra is a favourite fashion designer by many of the people in the Bollywood industry. Some of his fans include Kareena Kapoor, Urmila Matondkar and many others.

This time actress Kareena Kapoor is going to play an interesting role in the sequel to Rohit Shetty’s successful comedy flick, GOLMAAL - FUN UNLIMITED, aptly titled GOLMAAL RETURNS. Ajay Devgan will be seen paired opposite kareena Kapoor after their previous film, Omkara released in 2006. Amongst the rest of the multi-starrer cast, actress Amrita Arora will be seen opposite Arshad Warsi while Celina Jaitley and Anjana Sukhani opposite Shreyas Tarpade and Tusshar Kapoor respectively. Kareena will be the playing the role of Ajay Devgan’s wife, in the sequel to GOLMAAL -FUN UNLIMITED and plays a ’saas-bahu’ serial addict. Tusshar Kapoor, who continues his mute act from the prequel, will be seen playing a struggling mute barber. Jaitley will be playing a half-Indian, half-Afghani Christian-Muslim traditional Tamilian housewife while Arora will be playing Devgan’s sister.

There is always a difference between the fees between the two sexes in Bollywood. Kareena Kapoor today charges approximately 2 crores per project. While Aamir Khan demands Rs 7 crore for a movie, Aishwarya Rai manages just Rs 2.5 crore per project. Rekha, Madhuri Dixit or Sridevi used to command a high price and because of the packaging, producers used to pay them hefty fees. Today, Rani Mukherjee and Preity Zinta demand high fees because of their draw at the box office. Even in Hollywood too, very few actresses like Julia Roberts and Angelina Jolie demand a fee equivalent to that of the hero. The producer director Ruchi Nansa says “It is not because of the sexes that a hero is paid more and a heroine is paid less. Both are actors and who can pull in more crowds/audience is what counts when one does a research regarding the economics of a film.’’

Kareena Kapoor has gained a lot of popularity after her film Jab We Met, and her dressing style is something which has defiantly been appreciated. Now Kareena is ready to design her own line of clothing for a retail brand. Kareena is in the process of following the foot steps of Jennifer Lopez and Victoria Beckham who have done the same. Well what we can is that Kareena’s work will defiantly be successful as she does set some good fashion trends.

After the success of the film Jab We Met, everybody wants to be a Kareena or so it seems. It appears that, the long T shirts and Patialas that she wears in the film seems to become a trend with youngsters. And when we ask to Kareena about her style statement and what she thought about the latest trend then she said that she give more preference to comfort and she feels a lot of comfort in T shirts and patialas and that’s the reason it was bound to become a rage. Although there is a rumor about the relationship between Shahrukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan but Shahrukh is again coming in Dewaar and will play the role of Vijay. Shashi Kapoor and Neetu Singh’s role will be played by the hot couple of these days Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. Priyanka Chopra will play the role of Parveen Babby and Shefali Shah will play the role of Nirupma Rai. According to sources Shahrukh Khan is making this film under his banner Red Chili. But all the rights of this film are with Rajeev Rai who is the son of producer Gulshan Rai.

After the break up of between Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor is in another dilemma. Now he is torn between his separated parents. Pankaj Kapoor and Neelima Azim both of them want Shahid to work for their films. But Shahid is confused because Pankaj Kapoor has kept the condition in front of Shahid that either he can work for him or with his mother Neelima. But this condition is really a big problem for him; neither has he wanted to say no to his father nor to his mother. In that situation he is not able to understand that that he should do.

Vidya Balan met Kareena Kapoor’s ex boyfriend Shahid Kapoor during the shooting of film Kismat Connection in Canada. Shahid thinks that being a good actress she is also a good human being. Shah Rukh Khan is now the brand ambassador for an Emami product which is their new fairness cream for men, Fair and Handsome. He has become the ambassador for this product for two years. Apparently Shah Rukh Khan has been paid very good money for this endorsement, which probably applies to a lot of the big stars. Currently Shah Rukh is also promoting and an ambassador for Navratna Oil, which was previously endorsed by Amitbah Bachchan. For other Emami products the company have used Amitabh Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor as their ambassadors, which is for their Boroplus Cream.
