Indian film industry

In India there are at least 1000 new movies every year and two third of these movies run into losses but the number of movies released every year has been on the rise for the last two decades with no sign of slowing down. Mumbai is the hub of film making in India which is considered to be the largest film industry in the world.
Thousands of people go to Mumbai every year to try their luck in the movies ever year and end up doing menial jobs there but for those who manage to get some good assignments make it big almost certainly and this thing attracts people to Mumbai from all over India.

Laga Chunari Mein Daag

The yet to be released film Laga Chunari Mein Daag, is having some problems before hand. Producers Himanshu and Hirachand Jogani of Bhoomi Shree Pictures have apparently sent a legal notice to Yash Raj Films, claiming that the title of the film, Laga Chunari Mein Daag is registered under their name. The film is in its last stage of being made and hopefully going to be released by the end of the year. According to close sources the film has been renamed as ‘Laaga Chunari Mein Daag - The Journey Of A Woman’.

The moon as a song theme

There are a lot of songs which have the moon as a symbol of love and is many times related in songs with the lover’s passion for each other. There is one Ghazal by Jagjeet Singh in which he uses the moon to describe the beauty of his beloved. The song goes like this, “Kal Chodhvin Ki Raat Thi…”. In this song he says the whole of the comparison in a very lucid style and the music is so tuned and focused that one sees the moon to be a true descriptions of one’s loved one. He compares the face of the moon with the face of the lover.
