The 22-year-old model-turned-actress has already received an award for being the best new comer for 2008. Deepika has bagged some films for self already and she will also being doing a south Indian film. In the film she will be possibly be doing a role opposite Tamil superstar Rajinikanth in the big-budget film Robot. Director Shankar, who directed the film Shivaji last year, has already teamed up with the renowned music composer AR Rehman for the film. Deepika is now one of the actresses who gets top pay.

So being in the South and being launched from here is very important,” says Rahman. “I’ve grown up in Bangalore and I can see what comes out of the city. It’s just huge, the potential. There are so many people and so many different forms of music playing for underground audiences who don’t listen to mainstream music,” adds Vasundhara. There is news that Band leader Kailash Kher, along with Mumbai-based Kamath brothers, Paresh and Naresh, are set to compose music for two Bollywood films. Kailash Kher’s music is really heart rendering and has won a many hearts in favour of his genre of music. After stamping their mark in the music industry with two successful albums, the composer trio of popular band Kailasa are now expanding their domain into Bollywood and are in talks with the Mozart of Madras, AR Rahman, who may sing for them. When asked Kher said “Yes, me and my colleagues of my band Kailasa, Paresh Kamath and Naresh Kamath, will be composing music for upcoming films Made In China and Allah Ke Bande,” .“Together we will be known as Kailash-Paresh-Naresh” he added. We are now eagerly waiting for the music to be released.
