Ajay Devgan again gave a power house performance in Raj Kumar Santoshi’s Halla Bol. Now Raj Kumar Santoshi is busy detailing his next film which again stars Ajay Devgan. And this time Ajay gets to play the role of King Asoka. Earlier Shah Rukh Khan has also essayed the character of King Ashoka now lets see if Ajay can do more justice with the character. The film will be shot in August this year and is expected to be completed in December. Raj Kumar Santoshi has planned a huge budget to depict life of King Ashoka on the big screen. Ajay is also very excited about the project. According to Ajay the film has been scripted very well.

I hope it leaves an impact and people like it.” The film is based on the late Safdar Hashmi, who was killed by political goons while trying to stage the street play “Halla Bol” in Delhi in 1989. And to promote the film, the stars of this film are busy doing street pays in different places of the country.
This time actress Kareena Kapoor is going to play an interesting role in the sequel to Rohit Shetty’s successful comedy flick, GOLMAAL - FUN UNLIMITED, aptly titled GOLMAAL RETURNS. Ajay Devgan will be seen paired opposite kareena Kapoor after their previous film, Omkara released in 2006. Amongst the rest of the multi-starrer cast, actress Amrita Arora will be seen opposite Arshad Warsi while Celina Jaitley and Anjana Sukhani opposite Shreyas Tarpade and Tusshar Kapoor respectively. Kareena will be the playing the role of Ajay Devgan’s wife, in the sequel to GOLMAAL -FUN UNLIMITED and plays a ’saas-bahu’ serial addict. Tusshar Kapoor, who continues his mute act from the prequel, will be seen playing a struggling mute barber. Jaitley will be playing a half-Indian, half-Afghani Christian-Muslim traditional Tamilian housewife while Arora will be playing Devgan’s sister.

I got the chance to work with the veterans. Just watching Pankaj ji and Raj ji in action was a treat.
