The must awaited Abhiash wedding was shown on the news channels yesterday, allowing people to see the wedding ceramony, which took place. No one knows of yet whether this was agreed to be shown by the Bachchan family or not. Every news channel had this as their top story, as the whole world wanted to get a glimpse of the wedding, although they had seen the photos before, but seeing the wedding ceremony take place with all the family gave an insight to the wedding.
Goldie Behl who was to start the shooting of his film Drona, will now been postponed by a year. This film is to have Abhishek Bachchan and was to be the answer to Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish. The reason for the delay is due to the special affects, which are shown in the film. According to sources this film is to have some of the best special affects yet to be shown in Bollywood films.
‘Cheeni Kum’ might have been accepted by audiences with mixed reactions but its director R. Balki is all excited about his next movie ‘Pa’ with same producer Sunil Manchanda. ‘Pa’ is ready to go on the floors in due time and features Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan. It is a very light comedy film portraying the relationship between a father and son.
Although Balki had thought of casting Aishwarya Rai in the film earlier, news has come in that Vidya Balan may step in the project instead of Rai.
‘Pa’ will have musical notes from Ilaiyaraaja, who is being appreciated for his work in ‘Cheeni Kum’.

Abhishek Bachchan has postponed his next film Lagaa Chunari Mein Daag, from the months of May till June. The film is being postponed due to his extended honeymoon. Rani Mukherji has not taken this very well, as she has had to reschedule her own dates. The film will also star Jaya Bachchan. According to sources things are not so good between Rani and Abhishek and even Jaya, above that she was left out of the wedding. When Rani is asked about this situation she stays quiet and says nothing.
Amitabh Bachchan has taken a break from his films, and it’s because of the big wedding coming up. Amitabh has put a hold on all his assignments until son Abhishek Bachchan gets married. Amitabh is busy making all the last arrangements while wife Jaya is supervising the costumes.
On the event of the 52nd Fair One Filmfare Awards 2007, the Bachchan’s arrived on the dot of time, just as the invite had requested. The family along with friend Amar Singh arrived at the event sharp at 7pm, the grabbed their seats and were very relaxed. Where as the other stars poured in late even up to an hour late and rushed to settle in their seats.
Ashwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan have no date as of yet to their marriage but it doesn’t stop directors or Ash from signing on films. Both families including Jaya Bachchan are very supportive and want her to continue in her career. Many directors have lined up their films to have Ashwarya, Abhishek and Hrithik to star in their films, and this is due to the success of the pairs in Dhoom 2 and Guru.
