Thought it is said that if there is no release for two years then you are forgotten as an actor. The rule is not the same for Aamir Khan. After Dil Chahta Hai Aamir had no release for two years and after Lagaan he was again missing for 4 years then released his film Mangal Pandey which was the biggest flop of the year. But still Aamir was amongst the highest paid stars. Aamir has a huge fan following. If it was any other actor they he would have become a story of the past but Aamir could survive and be in the top league of actors. Today he has become a director and people cannot stop praising him.

Aamir Khan is busy these days shooting for Ghajini which a remark of a Tamil Film. Another thing that is keeping him busy is getting sis pack abs, which he would require for his next film. Aamir’s Taare Zameen Par has also been appreciated by the President of our country Mrs. Pratibha Patil. She personally told Aamir to make more such films. But Aamir dreams to make Mahabharata. His idea is to make series of film on different episodes of Mahabharata. He would love to play the role of Lord Krishna.

Indeed Aamir spells magic. This man has done it again. Taare Zameen Par is exactly what we expect form Aamir Khan. It is a fantastic work done. The movie brings in to light the problems of a dyslexic child and is very interestingly made. It doesn’t make you yawn but sympathies with the kid. After Black this is another film that deserves applauded. Taare Zammen Par is a beautifully made film with a lot of honesty in work. The credit for this masterpiece should also go to its writer and creative director Amol Gupta, who wrote such a sensitive story and believed in Aamir’s projection of the film. Aamir is not only the Director and Producer of the film but he also plays a small but important role in the film. Initially Aamir Khan had decided to cast another actor to do this role but later he decided to move on with the role himself. The child artist Darsheel Safary plays the character of a dyslexic child. Darsheel as Ishaan Awasthi is commendable. When Ishaan’s family, friends and teacher can not understand his problem and look at him as a stubborn and problematic kid, his family sends him to a boarding school, where he encounters more difficult to cope up with life. He then meets a new teacher, Nikumbh Sir played by Aamir Khan, who not only understands his problem but decides to help him too. Tisca Chopra plays the role of Ishaan’s mother who is ripped apart between her husband and child, has a brilliant work to display. Hats off to Aamir!

Aditya is reconsidering about directing the film and thinking of handing it over to Vikram Krishna Acharya. Aparently according to sources Shahrukh Khan has be couped in for the negative role, with Aamir Khan as a policeman and apparently Hrithik Roshan will also be a part of the Dhoom 3.

There is always a difference between the fees between the two sexes in Bollywood. Kareena Kapoor today charges approximately 2 crores per project. While Aamir Khan demands Rs 7 crore for a movie, Aishwarya Rai manages just Rs 2.5 crore per project. Rekha, Madhuri Dixit or Sridevi used to command a high price and because of the packaging, producers used to pay them hefty fees. Today, Rani Mukherjee and Preity Zinta demand high fees because of their draw at the box office. Even in Hollywood too, very few actresses like Julia Roberts and Angelina Jolie demand a fee equivalent to that of the hero. In Hollywood too, very few actresses like Julia Roberts and Angelina Jolie demand a fee equivalent to that of the hero. The producer director Ruchi Nansa says “It is not because of the sexes that a hero is paid more and a heroine is paid less. Both are actors and who can pull in more crowds/audience is what counts when one does a research regarding the economics of a film.’’

The four-year-old relationship between the lovable bad boy Vikram Bhatt and his pretty girl-friend Ameesha Patel is reportedly under threat. Ameesha met Kanav Puri, a London-based businessman a few months ago in Delhi but no friendship developed then. But slowly and gradually like Bollywood movies it is said that there is a lot of interest from both the sides. Last week, the duo was spotted at party thrown by Sanjeev and Ajay Bijli for Aamir Khan. On Thursday night, Kanav and Ameesha were again spotted at Farah Khan Ali’s birthday bash at Poison. When contacted, and unaware that Ameesha was spotted with Kanav in Mumbai, Vikram said, “I know people have been trying to create a rift between Ameesha and me. But we are very much together. She is in Pune where her grandmother is ill.” And Ameesha said, “Yes, I was at Farah’s party, but there were ten other friends with me.” So we can just wait and watch to know the things.

The latest sensation in Bollywood is ‘Taare Zameen Par’. In India films for children are few and the good among these can be counted on one’s finger tips. With this in mind, Aamir Khan has directed ‘Taare Zameen Par’ with children being the main characters. Aamir Khan is known a perfectionist in the industry and he is always experimenting with different kind of roles. This attitude of his is taking him places. Aamir is the producer, director and the main hero for this movie. Throughout the story, an attempt to sensitive the viewers towards differently-abled children is evident. The film also poses a big question on the way our education system operates. Even though its ills are conspicuous, they are often ignored for pursuing the mad race - one that keeps defining the path, but sets no meaningful end. The movie shall persist in the minds of the viewers for a long time, with its simplicity of expression and its power to overwhelm people.
