When Vivek was going through a low phase in his personal and professional life very few people came to his rescue and Sunil Shetty was one of them. Sunil signed Vivek Oberoi for his film Mission Istanbul for mere 45 lakhs. But after shootout at Lokhanwala released and did well at the box office. Vivek’s Father Suresh Oberoi went to Sunil and demanded 3.5 crores. Sunil said that he will pay 30 lakhs more a sign of goodwill but he still insisted for 3 crores more. This made Sunil angry.
