John Abhraham’s career is shaping up well these days. He has be signing films with big banners and good directors. Last we heard that he will be doing and important role in Karan Johar’s Dostana opposite Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra. Now we hear that he has been recommended by his Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal’s producers to none other than David Dhawan. David had zeroed on Sanjay Dutt and Siddharth for the role but they could not give dates to David for the film. So David went and finalized John for the role. This movie will be written by Rensil D’silva who also wrote Rang De Basanti.

Just a few days back we heard that Priyadarshan has recommended Ameesha Patel for a role in Billo Barber opposite Irrfan Khan. This film will be produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s production house. But now Ameesha feels that she will be lost between Shah Rukh and Irrfan Khan in the film. The role that she is playing is too small and the film mainly revolves round the two stars. Ameesha explained to Priyadarshan that such small roles will not help her revive her career and so she would want to leave the film. As per the reports Priyadarsha is not too happy with Ameesha on this.

After Jodhaa Akbar it is Black and White that is said to have hurt the sentiments of certain people. Khalid Alvi who is the head of the Urdu Departmant in Zakir Hussain College has appealed in the High Court to ban the film. He claims that the role played by Anil Kapoor in the film who is an Urdu Professor has been based on him. Subhash Ghai who has directed the film said that if it so then it is purely coincidental and says that he has mentioned the same in the film too. But Khalid Alvi insists that the film is hurting his sentimental values as well as the values of the Muslim community.

Amrita Rao has done a music video for the Pakistani band Jal. But the story does not end there. Goher who is the lead vocalist of the band has been visiting Mumbai pretty often now. Infact both has been seen hanging out together at a lot of hotspots. As per reports it was love at first sight. Amrita also got home cooked food for the guy during the shoot. Though both have been denying any love angle but to hide it will be impossible. Goher wants Amrita to do his next video and also wants her to be a part of his band’s tour in India and Pakistan. No wonder they look so much in love in the music Video!
