This year there have not been any great movies, and only a small number of hits, which include the early bird hit Guru, followed by Chak De India, then other hits later on in the year such as Jab We Met. This year the film industry gave the audience some ridiculous films, and the main resolution for them should be to give better and different kinds of films.

Recently Salman Khan turned another day old and celebrated his 42^nd birthday. Although there are many other actors who have celebrated their 40^th or something birthdays this year, we got to admit that Salman does look a bit older than the rest. There can be many reasons behind this, of the obvious which would be his personal life, now without a girlfriend…maybe Salman needs to find a life partner soon.

The very popular couple John Abraham and Bipasha Basu is to get engaged in the beginning of January 2008. The two have been seeing each other since 2002, and now John and Bipasha will begin the first part towards becoming a family. Parents of both Bipasha and John had a meeting where they gave their blessing to their children. According to sources the engagement ceremony will be a simple one of exchanging rings.

According to rumors it has been heard that Katrina Kaif has split up with Salman Khan, yet there no definite answer to this. The couple had been together for quite some time, and a few months ago it was also heard that they were going to get married. But this obviously turned out to be false. When Katrina has been asked about the split of her and Salman she has decided to ignore this topic and even pretended that she can not hear the other person on the phone, well from this it clearly shows that there is something fishy.

The Sawariya duo Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor were in news not for their on screen romance in the film Sawariya this time, instead there are speculations about the budding real romance between the two of them. There are plenty of Rumours are in the news, the buzz being that Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam are apparently dating each other. Though Saawariya could not create those ripples that it was expected to, still it seems that their combination is here to stay; since both have been pretty successful in making their individual marks. We know that Prachi Desai is giving her best on her daily telly show named Kasam se. And you can see her rocking and dancing in the realty shows. But the biggest scuttlebutt centering on her is her appearance in a film. You will see the Farah Akhtar in front of camera instead of behind the camera in Rock On. Prachi feel fortunate as her first movie would be opposite a person, who is himself appearing for first time before the camera. Aamir Khan’s new film Taare Zameen Par has been released last week and it has not gone too well. The story line is based on children and their parents who pressurize them to study hard and get an A and nothing below, which is quite realistic in India. But knowing the public they don’t really like realistic stories and therefore the film has not done so well at the box office. Well its about time people faced reality and see it for themselves rather than hiding from it.

Neelima Azim and Pankaj Kapur were seprated long time back, but Shahid Kapur was with Neelima and she brought him up single handed and there was no contribution of Pankaj Kapur in brought up to Shahid but now when Shahid is climbing steps of success then Pankaj Kapur is showing his fatherhood with him as Pankaj asked to Shahid to work in his film but not in the film of Neelima. The girl next door Kulraj Randhawa who became famous after her first TV serial Kareena Kareena will share the screen with yesteryears star Rishi Kapoor in the film Hadbahedi. This film is produced by Bobby Bedi and directed by debutante Ranjit Kapoor. The team has begun the second shooting schedule in Himachal Pradesh. Rishi Kapoor is playing the role of himself i.e. Chintu Kapoor. Kulraj says that he is the same for me as he was Raja in Bobby, Rajesh in Hum Kisi Se Kum Nahi or Rohit in Chandni. She said it’s like a dream come true for her.
